Printed over a million role models for young girls to aspire to …

Nike and Wieden+Kennedy London created a series of posters designed to honour the fiercest footballers in the world, showcasing them like never before. The epic poster series turns athletes who are at the pinnacle of their game into role models.

Together with Nike we created 94 unique designs and printed them on over a million posters & stickers made from recycled materials and they were distributed across the world.

To showcase this we created an exhibition; a peek into the world’s most inspirational girl’s bedroom, plastered completely with all the posters we have made. The exhibition talks about heroes and how they belong on bedroom walls to show the next generation of girls what’s possible. People are encouraged to take free posters and give it to a girl they know, help them hang it on their wall and support them to follow their dream.

Our line ‘Don’t change your dream. Change the world.’ became the global anthem and made it on to the walls of every shop, the TV spot and even on Nike products like the girls training kit.

To create a deeper connection between athletes and their fans, we documented four athlete stories – France’s Amandine Henry, Sara Dabritz for Germany, Lieke Martens from the Netherlands and England’s Fran Kirby. Each of the athletes premiered the films across their own Instagram channels while Nike shared them on the @Nike IGTV channel.
